THE DAVE KLINE BAND  Dave Kline Violinist / acoustic guitarist and composer, Dave Kline was born and raised in London, England. Since 1972 Dave has played live or recorded with numerous artists and bands on both coasts of America. In addition to rock, jazz, blues, and swing Dave's musical influences encompass folk and ethnic music from around the world including English, Irish, American, Latin, Cuban, African, Middle Eastern, Indian and other cultures. The album "Life's Little Mysteries" demonstrates the breadth of his original compositions. Dave's live performances are known for their spontaneous combustion. He has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with a wide ranging plethora of luminaries including a stint with Dwight Yoakum. Mark Foster Mark Foster is our 6-string fretless bass player. Expressive, funky and exhilarating come to mind as descriptions of his musical attributes. With his extensive background in jazz, Brazilian, salsa, flamenco, and reggae, Mark seems to intuitively know the right notes and the right feel to keep the tunes right in the pocket. Mark's musical haunts include St. Louis, Santa Fe and Los Angeles. Tony Harrod Electric Guitarist Tony Harrod, a Washington DC native, has over 30 years of experience playing numerous styles ranging from jazz to reggae to blues to gospel to R&B to afro-cuban ….you name it. Tony brings a highly developed sense of rhythm and improvisational fire to our performances. Rafael Monteagudo Rafael Monteagudo, from Cuba, is our powerhouse drummer and percussionist. Rafael recently earned sponsorship from Sabian cymbals and is also now sponsored by Kaman Music/Toca Percussion. While his talents include the explosive power you’d expect from a Cuban drummer and percussionist, we have additionally crowned him the king of funk!
